Hello, I'm Anicia,
your wanderlust geologist.

These two words are the strongest to define who I am and what this blog will be is. I am a current undergrad at the
University of California, Santa Barbara who is studying earth science with an emphasis on environmental and climate. I am a geologist. 
I accidentally wandered into my major, being pulled in through the dynamic wonders of geological history that Santa Barbara holds by venturing on hikes and being extremely curious on why each patch of earth seemed so unique. This blog is my journey, it will depict the travels that I experience within Santa Barbara as a budding geologist with bright eyes searching for the next adventure.

I can hope to inspire those who don't exactly see the scientific beauty that this Earth carries and pull them to follow into my pathway.

 

Quick side note: I am really great at making geology puns, so if you happen to see some word randomly italicized, it's a pun. Never take a geologist for granite.
